Week 21/22 MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!πŸŽ…πŸΌπŸŽ‰

WOW lots happened these past few weeks!
I had my first Christmas as a missionary, I've gotta say, it was the BEST Christmas by far, it was just so special to be able to really focus on my relationship with Jesus Christ and all that he has done for me. All day the spirit was just so strong and the time I got to take to study on his birth was just incredible, the son of God was born into such a humble setting, it humbled me alot.
Later that day we got together as a zone and played frisbee and did a white elephant gift exchange! It was really fun, after that we went back home and got to call our families, that was a really special time for my family and I, I just love them so much and I cant even begin to explain how special they are to me and how thankful I am for them. Later for dinner we went over to the first counselors house and they made us such a BOMB meal!! Salmon, asparagus, and mashed potatoes!! ALL MY FAVORITE!! pure revelation;)
The next day we went right back to work! It didnt even look cold outside so we didnt dress very warm but it was brutally cold! Our fingers were burning and red becuse they were so cold! But we saw lots of miracles that day!
While studying one day last week, I came across the scripture Doctrine and covanants section 15, the scripture that made me decide to serve a mission, it's really special to me and I came across it right when I needed it. God is always looking out for me!
We did a last minute exchange last week and sister Taylor came to my area with me again! Yay!   It was so much fun! I did her nails and she got to use our massage chair and jacuzzi bath Haha, we really are living lavish here. Exchange miracles are real and we saw alot. One that happened was, we were trying to find this family that had let us share a message the night before and I could not remember what building they lived in for the life of me and I had forgot to write it down, so we just kind walked about looking for the one that looked like it and then when we were walking, the guy we had taught walked right into us! He was like "oh whatre you guys doing here? I'm just getting back from the gym, want to come in and share another message with my family and i?"  YES! if we didnt get lost and went right to their apartment then they wouldnt have let us in because the dad was gone!
Some funny moments from the exchange:
I lost a bet and had to drink out of a decorative fountain some gross water.
We did 1-10 and we said 6 and 4 so since our numbers added up we both had to do it and it was falling straight back into snow.. good times hahah
On the 30th, the guy we are teaching was supposed to be baptized but some things happened in his life and he wanted to push it back to sometime after the new year, so that was sad but it's ok! We also had our last shift at the giving machines and it was FREEZING COLD!!! I couldn't feel my fingers or toes the whole time but it was still fun!
We went over to this members house who doesnt go to church because he stays home with his sick wife and the preisthood holders bring her the sacrament every Sunday and he doesnt take it because he smokes and doesnt feel worthy but wants us to help him get worthy so we started the stop smoking program with him and he committed to smoke his last 17 cigs the next day then hes done! So I decorated his last pack real good Haha.

2020 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
we worked hard all day on new years eve then had to go home early, we found alot of people we could potentially start teaching because we did a zone blitz so our whole district came to our area and found alot of people prepared and ready to hear of the restored gospel. Also that day some sisters in our zone lost their car keys somewhere while knocking so we all went to them and helped them find them by praying all together and spreading out to search the streets, only 30 minutes later we found them in some snow!
New years day we found out about transfers and sister Madsen and I are both staying here!

This week I want to invite you all to share the restored gospel with someone. Pray for opportunities:)
