Week 26: Sunday miracles!!
HELLO!!
Monday night we did exchanges till Tuesday night and sister pike came here! We had a really fun busy day!! We knocked doors for hours on end and it was a bit discouraging because we got rejected rudely door after doooorrrr. One guy was trying to tell me I dont believe in one God and I wasnt going to give up on that one so I seriously think we sat there for a minute just going back and forth, him saying "no you don't." And me saying "yes we do." I won. But that's not what matters lol. But that day we ended up being able to share the restored gospel with 3 nice people!!
On wednesday we found out that a DUTCH BROS opened in our zone so of course I had to go. I've never been more happy in my life. And on wednesday night to Thursday night we did exchanges again and this time I went to sister disques area with her! I got the best sleep ever in a really comfy bed *my bed is a rock* it was a really really good day!! We saw a ton of miracles!! First was that when I got to their apartment I went in the bedroom and sister disque yells "sorry the light isnt working!" I thought she meant the lamp because I just turned on the room light and it worked and she walks in and goes "WHATTT?? WHAT DID YOU DO?! HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!" I was so confused and she told me that the light in their room hadn't been working for weeks and when it gets dark they just use a flash light.. I showed her how.. turns out they were using the closet light switch the whole time... hahahahahaha. But seriously, tons of miracles and blessings that day, like running into people they used to teach and starting to reteach them again:)
Friday my comp and I went downtown to get ice cream for lunch at the best ice cream place ever LITTLE MANS!! Later that night while we were knocking the prettiest sky thing happened!! Looked like a red blanket over the earth (thought it was the second coming) it had some good power in it I guess because we picked up 2 more people to teach that night!!
Sunday!! MIRACLE DAY!!! sitting in church, sacrament meeting about to start.. in walks shannon and Bruce!!! Couldnt get in contact with them all week and all they say when they sit down by us is "sorry we are a little late." But wait it gets better.. 5 more minutes we turn around and a few rows back the Chinese lady we are teaching, mae is there!!! One more.. Sydney who is getting baptized this Saturday showed up after saying she wouldnt be able to make it because she had the flu! We asked her what she was doing there and if she felt better and she just goes " cough cough* ya im feeling better, just living my best life:)" and goes and sits down!! What the heck!!! It was crazy!! Sooo good though, 4 people at church!! GOD IS ON THE MOVE!!♡
I love being a missionary! Remember this week to ask God to include you in gathering isreal! Dont ask God for help in gathering isreal:) he doesn't need anyone of us but he chooses us to help him do his mighty works here on earth:) love you all!
