WEEK 37•JESUS IS ALIVE!! ANANI IS GETTING
BAPTIZED!!
This last week was so good!! I can definitely see all the miracles coming out of this virus! Like how amazing was the worldwide fast on friday?! The facebook page "worldwide fast April 10" was incredible. So many religions all around the world came together and so many hearts were softened.
Everyday this week our mission president and his wife and another senior couple (who got permission to stay because they are young) put together a schedule for everyday this week and called it " the final week" so we focused on what Jesus did every day this week leading up to his resurrection. I learned SO much!! They even planned out our personal and companionship studies, where to read in the bible and what videos to watch. Something fun to go along with all of that this week was "mystery ministering" we all got assigned another companionship in our zone to minister to every day, we got the Zone Leaders, Elder Taylor, Elder Barton and Elder Ruesch! They caught us every.single.day. LAMEE but it was a ton of fun, Yesterday for our last day we got them a soccer ball that said "Jesus bounced back today so you can too" and then gave them an Easter basket with face masks and a ton more with cute little bunny ears that we had go get a picture of them in😂
ANANI IS GOING TO BE BAPTIZED!!! like I said in my last email she wasnt really down because she wanted to party but she watched general conference then was on Instagram and saw a post that said "if your looking for an answer, this is your answer" so she told us she changed her mind and wanted to be baptized (dont worry we made sure she actually prayed about it haha) we are so happy for her. Our facebook group with the 3 of us is called "GOD SQUAD👊🏼" shes so cool, shes gonna be my bestie forever, she told us "everyone thinks missionaries are so weird but like you guys are so dope, we should go skateboarding together" HAHA
This week we got FOUR online referrals. That's a big deal!! They all either requested a visit or a book of mormon! And we got in touch with all of them and started teaching a man and his wife. He just got out of jail and he is so prepared. He is amazing!! He totally agrees and finishes our sentences for us, when he asked If we had an Easter dinner and we said no he almost started crying he wanted us to have his whole ham because we are doing the lords work haha hes great.
We finally started temple prep with sister Martinez and I about cried when we were talking to her about it. She just has the biggest desire to be sealed to her kids, I am so grateful for the ordinances we have available on Earth.
EASTER! the spirit was soooo strong all day long. I am thankful for my savior Jesus Christ who broke the bands of death and gave us the infinite atoning sacrifice!!!

2 Nephi 31:20 Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.
