Hello Colorado!!

We got to Denver on Wednesday at like 3 PM! At the Salt Lake airport, I had Cafe Rio and wow I can’t believe I had forgotten how good real food was haha. Then we had pizza at the mission home and talked with everyone, then slept over there and got up the next morning to get our new companion and go to our area! My companion is Sister Wickham and she is awesome! She knows some people from my home that I grew up with so that is cool! 

We went out tracting the first night and it was so awesome. We prayed to know where we needed to go and I decided we should go to this apartment in the same complex as us , so we went and a girl named Laura opened the door and it was soooooo cool!! She had been baptized 7 years ago when she lived in Mexico then moved to Colorado 4 years ago and hasn't gone back to church because she thought there was no churches that just spoke Spanish because she is more comfortable with Spanish. We told her that there was a Spanish ward just 10 minutes away from her and she was so happy. She told us she had been praying for help and have wanted to go back to church and wanted to be closer with God then we showed up! She said, “I can’t describe the way I am feeling right now" I just was so happy because 1. We were sent to answer her prayers. 2. I've always heard these stories and thought they were so cool and the first day I'm in the mission field it happened to me!! 3. PRAYER AND REVELATION ARE REAL THEY WORK!!! I've already seen so many amazing things happening here and I'm so excited for more!!

 On Friday, Sis. Meacham and I got to be together all day because our companions are still (sister training leaders) so they had meetings, two newsies out tracting together?!!! We were like, you guys are crazy but okayyyy hahah, and it actually turned out way good and awesome. We found a man named Ricardo working on a house, not even his own and he wanted to hear what we had to say and he wants to come to church on Sunday and read the Book of Mormon !! So exciting!!!! On another note, Sister Meacham didn’t think about wearing sunscreen and she got FRIED!!! She was in so much pain the 2nd half of the day I felt so bad, I'm sure she will never forget to wear sunscreen again ahah! 

When Sister Wickham and I were out knocking doors she held a huge frog and it peed all over her and it was soooooo much like we don't know how a frog could go so much? Her hands were dripping, then this lady opened up her door and we told her what happened and she said she needs to wash her hands immediately because frog urine could cause warts so we soaked her hands in hand sanitizer Haha but to drive home she put Kleenex’s on her hands so she didn't touch anything ahha , real good times!
