Betty is getting baptized!

Hey everyone! 

So something..Fun happened while we were cleaning and rearranging our apartment. I was outside on the deck sweeping and the dude above us is always smoking and dropping his cigs through the floor on ours so I was out there and looked up for ONE SECOND AND HE FLICKED HIS ASH ON MY FACE I WAS SO MAD!!! I'm going to buy that man an ash tray, so that was fun ahahah. We also have a ghost in our apt that 1. Moves around our clothes and 2. Smokes weed in our apt. We always come out and its smells so bad, like walking into a cloud of smoke in our apartment ahha, it's fine, we're fine. 

On Wednesday we picked up the other sisters to go to district counsel and they're in a trio so we had to put 3 bikes on our bike rack that is only meant for only 2. Long story short, there are only 2 bikes left... 

The work is really really progressing here!! It is so cool to be a part of the gathering of Israel! Something that I started this week was really reading and understanding every verse of the book of Mormon. It has already helped me so much!! Y’all should start it again and really make it your own challenge to understand every verse of it and mark up everything! And another thing my comp and I started this week is that we got cute little notebooks and they are our miracle journals and 3 things we are grateful for each day in our journals! And I also invite y’all to do that. Just write down at the end of the day 3 things that you are grateful for. It can be on your phone in notes your notes and go treat yourself to a cute new notebook!!:) 

On Saturday we asked a sweet old lady named Betty to be baptized!! She is a little stubborn sass but I could not love her more!! She is so excited! She gets baptized this Saturday!! The feeling I got after asking her to follow Jesus Christ example and be baptized was just the best thing ever. I can’t even describe it, I've never been happier for someone! I know how many blessing she will get and really feel whole. She told us something in her life was just missing for soo long and she knows it is this. I love being a missionary. 

Also,  we met this lady that was having a hard time because her husband was murdered 6 years ago and just recently his murder documentary came out. So, let me know if a new murder documentary comes out haha.
